Match your pet's weight to the size label. Our sizes are labelled by the weight they hold — S · 27 lb, M · 39 lb, L · 88 lb and so on — so you can read it straight off the product page. The rule behind those numbers is about one cubic inch of capacity per pound your pet weighed, plus a little extra for the sealed bag the crematory returns. What's the largest dog these urns fit?

Up to 88 lb. Several styles run to a full urn at that size, and others reach 81 lb, 63 lb or 42 lb — the ceiling is written into every size label. For a giant breed above that, message us before ordering and we'll tell you honestly whether anything here will work.

Will the urn hold all of my pet's ashes?

Yes, as long as you match the label. The weight on the size label is the ceiling — a size marked 39 lb holds a complete set for a pet up to that weight. Single-size pieces carry a rating too, and every urn shows what it holds on the product card as you browse and in the size details on the product page.

Do I pour the ashes in, or does the bag go inside?

How much ash will my pet leave?

Can I split my pet's ashes between two urns?

Are pet cremation urns sealed?

They're designed to be closed rather than sealed shut — the lid stays put in normal handling, and you can open it again if you need to. Which material should I choose — ceramic, wood, brass, steel or cement?

It depends mostly on where the urn will live. Ceramic carries a full-colour portrait best and suits a shelf or mantel. Wood feels warmer and reads more like a piece of furniture. What photo works best for a portrait or photo urn?

One where their face is in focus, reasonably well lit, and turned toward the camera. A phone photo is fine, and older photos usually work.
