Pet Portraits Image Guidelines
To create the best result for your custom piece, please upload a clear photo of your pet.
What works best
- A sharp, high-resolution image
- Natural lighting (not too dark or overexposed)
- Your pet facing forward with both eyes visible
- The full head and ears clearly shown
Please avoid
- Blurry or pixelated photos
- Heavy filters
- Cropped ears or face
- Pets too far from the camera

A clear photo helps us capture your pet’s true expression and details.
Will I see it before it's made?
Printed portraits — such as our pet portraits on wood — come with a free digital preview. We'll email your design within 1–2 business days, and production begins only after you approve it.
Hand-painted portraits work the other way round. A painting can't be previewed before it exists, so our artist paints your piece first, then we email you a photo of the finished portrait before it ships. If it isn't right, we repaint it.
If you're unsure, feel free to contact us before placing your order — we're happy to help.
