FAQ

What size cat fits the Free Explorer harness?

This one-size harness fits a neck circumference of 21–31 cm (8.3–12.2 in) and a chest circumference of 32–53 cm (12.6–20.9 in). It is suggested for cats up to 8 kg (17.6 lb); check both measurements before ordering.

My cat dislikes bulky vests. Does this harness cover less of the body?

Yes. The Free Explorer has an open strap design with less body coverage than a vest. Its neck and chest straps adjust, but whether your cat prefers it will depend on the cat; introduce any new harness gradually indoors.

Is a leash included, and how long is it?

Yes. The set includes a matching leash that adjusts from 120 to 160 cm (47.2–63.0 in).

How should I check the fit before the first walk?

Adjust the neck and chest straps so they sit securely without pinching. Let your cat move in the harness indoors and recheck the fit before any outdoor use.
